Pattrick James Eggle Linville Cutaway acoustic in Indian rosewood and Alaskan sitka in Thornhill, Gloucestershire for sale

Pattrick James Eggle Linville Cutaway acoustic in

Pattrick James Eggle Linville Cutaway acoustic guitar with L.R. Baggs IBeam pickup. This guitar was made for me in 2008/9 when I was writing lots of new music, but in the last few years tendonitis has nearly stopped me playing so it rarely leaves its case. The guitar is lightly played with light fretwear - I only used it for home recording and it has never been gigged or played in pub sessions. It is a very expressive guitar with fabulous sustain, suited to fingerstyle but also really dynamic for jazz chords etc.. I chose the wood in Pattrick's workshop and had it built without a scratch plate - just lovely spruce and Indian rosewood, with a smooth fine mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard, with stunning abalone and mother of pearl inlays and the original elegant headstock design. The neck is effortless to play. There are some tiny marks on the back which look like beads of sweat which I think were caused about three years ago when I played the guitar on a hot day without a shirt on! My body heat seems to have made the grain rise slightly beneath the otherwise immaculate lacquer. They haven't changed since first appearing and seem to be stable - you would only notice them looking closely. The guitar cost me about £3,000 and this specification would now cost around £3,400, so at £1,800 in such fantastic condition it is a real bargain - money is needed for other things. I'm very happy to answer questions by phone or email.
